MANILA -- He first shot to fame after joining the second season of "The Voice of the Philippines" back in 2014, where he reached the live rounds as part of the team of Sarah Geronimo.

This time, reggae artist Kokoi Ubaldo is back in the limelight with his band Juan Gapang as they performed their rousing cover of the classic "Banal na Aso" in Sunday's episode of "Your Moment."

Ubaldo earned praise from the judges, ranging from the level of difficulty that he showed when it came to his growls, to the heart he displayed while singing onstage.

He was even brought to tears afterwards, admitting: "Hindi po ako makapaniwala na makakarating kami dito para mai-share iyong music na akala namin ay hindi magugustuhan ng tao."

Ubaldo also explained why he opts to perform barefooted, saying that it reminds him to stay "grounded."

Ubaldo, 40, who hails from Bacolod, shot to fame after his amazing cover of Matisyahu's "One Day, earned him a spot in the team of Sarah Geronimo during the 2014 "The Voice" season.

He will be moving to the next round of "Your Moment" after beating two other acts, namely P Square and duo Charm and Charl.
