MANILA - Star Cinema on Sunday released the trailer for Vice Ganda and Coco Martin's newest comedy film, "The Super Parental Guardians," following its exclusion from the official list of entries to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Also starring child stars Onyok Pineda and Awra Briguela, the movie follows Paco (Martin), a handsome, tough-talking gang leader, as he tries to raise his orphaned nephews with Arci, the loud, gay friend of his late sister-in-law.

Directed Joyce Bernal, the film was submitted for consideration to the MMFF executive committee. It was given the thumbs down, along with other festival staples such as the newest installments of Vic Sotto's "Enteng Kabisote" franchise, and "Mano Po."
