A 9-year-old girl from Davao del Norte wowed the audience by singing Ted Ito's hit "Maghintay Ka Lamang" on "Little Big Shots" on Saturday.

Besides singing, sixth-grader Bebet also has a passion for teaching.

Bebet, who wakes up at 4 a.m. daily to walk to school, is an honor student. She lives with her Uncle Berting and walks 2 hours to school wearing only slippers.

"Pinagbubutihan ko po ang pag-aaral ko kaya balang araw gusto ko maging teacher para maturuan ang mga bata rito sa amin at gusto ko rin pong matupad ang pangarap kong maging sikat na singer sa buong mundo," she said.

Bebet's father has passed away, while her mother has another family, according to her uncle.

She recently went viral on social media after Dessa Jane Datu uploaded a video of her singing on Facebook.

The video has since garnered more than 5 million views, 73,000 likes, and 12,000 shares.

"Little Big Shots" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
