Janella asked: Has Joshua moved on from Julia?

MANILA—It was not too long ago when Janella Salvador shared stories of some of her bonding moments with her "The Killer Bride" co-star Joshua Garcia, including having meals together.

But have they recently talked about something else, perhaps a few topics closer to the heart?

She was asked about whether she thinks Garcia has moved on from his relationship with Julia Barretto, whom she is also known to be close with, during an interview with Pep this week.

According to Salvador, Garcia is doing "OK" despite suggestions that he hasn't been taking care of his health.

"Actually, OK naman si Joshua," she said. "Hindi ko siya nakitaan ng na-depress or whatever. He told me happy naman siyang nag-e-explore sa life by himself. So he's doing good."

She added: "Tanungin natin siya kung naka-move on na siya."

She was speaking during a press conference for her upcoming horror flick, "The Heiress," and she also said that she and Garcia have developed a fairly good friendship while filming their drama.

"Sobrang nakakatuwa. I'm actually having so much fun working with Joshua," she shared. "It's true what they say, napakagaling niya talaga. Nagkaroon na rin kami ng sariling bond, e. Open kami sa isa't isa. Kapag may problem, nakakausap namin ang isa't isa."

"So, kapag nagkakaeksena kami, talagang naiintindihan na namin isa't isa tinginan pa lang."

She also refused to take sides in the breakup surrounding Barretto and Garcia, both of which explained that they've decided to go back to just being close friends.

"Work is work naman. I'm still friends with Julia but that doesn't mean naman hindi kami puwedeng maging friends ni Joshua. So kahit love team kami on screen, hindi naman kailangan sa totoong buhay may something din."
