'ASAP Natin 'To,' 'Magandang Buhay' honored at 41st Catholic Mass Media Awards

MANILA -- Congratulations are in order for a host of Kapamilya shows and stars after taking home some of the top citations at the 41st Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), which aims to recognize "those who serve God through mass media."

Among the winners from ABS-CBN include "Seven Last Words" (Best TV Special), "ASAP Natin 'To" (Best Entertainment Program), and "Magandang Buhay" (Best Talk Show).

"Ang Babae ng Balangiga'," a historical documentary about Casiana Nacionales and her role in the Balangiga Encounter of 1901, was given a special citation, while teleserye "Nang Ngumiti ang Langit" won Best Children or Youth Program.

There were also awards handed to Marlo Mortel, Jed Madela, and Gary Valenciano in the music categories, as well as to DZMM's "Radyo Negosyo" and "Radyo Patrol Sais Trenta Alas Siyete."
