MANILA – Kapamilya divas KZ, Yeng Constantino, Kyla and Angeline Quinto held a successful concert on Friday and one of the highlights of their show was when they shared the stage with Regine Velasquez.

Each of them had a duet with the veteran the singer which concluded with all of them on stage singing one of Velasquez’s hit songs.

KZ sang “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” while Constantino belted out “Pangako.” It was the first time for both Kapamilya singers to sing with Velasquez.

Meanwhile, Quinto performed “Dadalhin” with Velasquez and Kyla sang “Pangarap Kong Ibigin Ka” with the veteran singer.

After their numbers, Velasquez admitted to being emotional, saying it is an honor to hear the four singers giving life her songs.

“It’s an honor for me to be here. Thank you for singing my songs. Kanina nung nandoon ako sa elevator, naiiyak ako kasi kinakanta niyo 'yung mga songs ko. Maraming maraming salamat. I’m very touched. You girls are so great. Ang gagaling niyo. Napapanganga ako,” she said.

Following their successful show at the Araneta Coliseum, KZ, COnstantino, Kyla and Quinto will be bringing the “Divas: Live” concert to the United States and Canada.
