MANILA - ABS-CBN's new streaming service, iWant, will be launched next week with new original shows and movies.

The new iWant, which will be available to users in the Philippines both in iOS and Android apps, and also through the web, has a collection of compelling titles, all for free.

Leading the pack is the much-hyped film "Glorious," which stars Angel Aquino and Tony Labrusca.

Viewers will finally get to see the romantic May-December love affair of Glory (Aquino) and Niko (Labrusca), and the challenges they have to overcome in their relationship.

Chito Roño's iconic TV show "Spirits" will get a reboot with "Spirits Awaken."

The series will follow the adventures of six teenagers who have supernatural powers and are tasked to protect the earth from the threat of an alien invasion.

Directed by Topel Lee, the series will feature Grae Fernandez, Kira Balinger, Jairus Aquino, Bugoy Cariño, Patrick Quiroz, and Chantal Videla in the lead.

The 10-episode anthology series "Alamat ng Ano," meanwhile, will tackle the origin of things in an absurd and funny way.

Narrated by a talky barangay tanod (Jobert Austria) and his trusty sidekick (Nonong Ballinan), it will star Maymay Entrata, Kisses Delavin, Donny Pangilinan, and Melai Cantiveros.

iWant's line-up will also include the gore-horror film "Ma," starring Kyle Espiritu and Glydel Mercado.

Fashion and travel vlogger Laureen Uy will also teach viewers the art of staying within budget without sacrificing style with her show "Laureen on a Budget."

Showbiz insiders MOR 101.9 DJ Jhai Ho, TV Patrol entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, and online sweetheart and television headwriter Darla Sauler will also get together every Friday night to chat about the hottest showbiz topics live in “IKR (I Know Right?!).”

To watch these shows, users just need to download the iWant app and register for free.

Existing iWant TV app users simply need to update to the new version on November 17.

Aside from these 6 new shows, iWant will also introduce new original titles that will exclusively stream on the platform.

iWant's extensive library will likewise include ABS-CBN shows, films, restored movie classics, and episodes of currently-airing Kapamilya teleseryes.
