In 2014, Yeng Constantino released a song that went on to become a wedding favorite, with its lyrics about finally finding one’s life partner.

That tune, “Ikaw,” even featured Constantino’s own love story with now-husband Yan Asuncion in its music video, released just months before they tied the knot.

On Friday, Constantino came out with a new single under Star Music, titled “Ikaw Ang Akin,” which fans may find is just as wedding-worthy like the singer’s similarly titled hit five years back.

“Ikaw Ang Akin” is a track from the original music soundtrack of Constantino’s upcoming film, “Write About Love,” co-starring Miles Ocampo, Rocco Nacino, and Joem Bascon.

The film’s director, Crisanto Aquino, said of writing the song: “This original composition is very special to me. It is for all the love that our hearts can give. This song isdedicated to everyone who continue to believe in the possibility and power of love.”

TBA Studios’ “Write About Love,” one of the entries competing in the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival, centers on the relationship of a young female writer (Ocampo) who collaborates with a seasoned indie film writer (Nacino) to close an unfinished love story (with characters played by Bascon and Constantino).
