MANILA -- As always, when one disappears from the spotlight, there will be rumors as to the "real" reason behind it.
One rumor that sprung from Liza Soberano's decision to stay in the US for a time --to have her injured finger surgically fixed-- was that she was allegedly pregnant.
The topic was brought up during the interview of her talent manager, Ogie Diaz, on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" this Thursday.
Diaz was asked to put the rumors to rest, and he said with certainty: "Hindi nangyari kay Liza iyon kahit kailan."
He added that they have already posted evidence regarding this for those who continue to claim that Soberano was pregnant and gave birth in secret, or that she had an abortion.
Diaz was on the late night talk show to promote an upcoming movie he produced, "Two Love You," about how sometimes gay men owe up to their responsibilities in life more than "real men."
The trailer can be seen below:
He also teased the upcoming teleserye of Soberano, which will reunite her not only with leading man Enrique Gil for television, but also with director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
There's no release date yet, but Diaz said that they already have shot two weeks' worth of episodes.
