Singer Morissette has teamed up with Ben Adams of the British boy band A1 for a Christmas single, marking her latest international collaboration.

Morissette is featured in Adams’ just-released “This is Christmas,” which is available on streaming platforms.

Adams penned the festive tune, which was originally meant to be recorded by a Dutch artist but he said he “loved it so much I couldn’t give it away.”

Adams sought a duet partner and got recommendations from industry friends, among them Roslyn Pineda of Sony Music Philippines.

“A1 was the first boy band I ever worked with, so I know firsthand how popular they are in Southeast Asia,” Pineda said.

“When I saw Ben’s post asking his fans who to collaborate with, I messaged him about Morissette. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one,” she added.

Morissette said she was “thrilled” when Adams reached out to her management about the collaboration.

“We thought it would really be an honor to be working with him. When he first shared the song to us, it got me more excited because of the danceable vibe and fun feel the song had,” she said.
