MANILA -- It has always been Anne Curtis' dream to score a photo with Gong Yoo, whom she openly credits as the main reason she became obsessed with K-dramas in the first place.
There was a time last year when she flew to South Korea just for the slightest chance to meet her idol, who was being interviewed then by her good friend, Kim "Kuya Kim" Atienza.
That did not happen, although she was able to watch Yoo perform in person as she was among those lucky enough to score tickets to the scheduled fan meet. No photo with him, though.
But finally, finally, this Wednesday, Curtis has a new treasure to keep in the form of a legit photograph with Yoo.
Preview was the first to share the photo online, which was taken at the opening of the Louis Vuitton Maison in Seoul. Both Curtis and Yoo were invited to the event.
According to Curtis, Yoo was her first and perhaps ultimate Korean crush. Her obsession with K-dramas, which has now extended to K-pop and Korean culture in general, started when she and husband Erwan Heussaff decided to randomly watch "Train to Busan."
Yoo was the star of the popular zombie flick.
