MANILA - "Ikaw Lamang," which concluded last Friday with the opening scene of its first-ever episode, drew monster ratings on its final night, according to Kantar Media.

The Coco Martin and Kim Chiu-starrer registered a nationwide rating of 34.1% last October 24, making it the most-watched TV program in the Philippines for the day.

Its competing program aired on GMA-7, "Hiram Na Alaala," in comparison, lagged behind by as much as 21 percentage-points with only 13.1%.

Trailing "Ikaw Lamang" in the Top 5 were all fellow Primetime Bida programs: "Hawak Kamay," "TV Patrol," "Pure Love" and "Two Wives," in that order.

A production of ABS-CBN's Dreamscape Entertainment Television, "Ikaw Lamang" was consistently the No. 1 TV series in its time slot across its seven-month run.

In September, it averaged a national viewership of 27.5%, according to Kantar Media, ranking it the fifth most-watched TV program in the Philippines for the month.

"Ikaw Lamang" was also a hit on social media, with terms related to the series consistently figuring in the top trends Twitter. The final episode, for instance, became the No. 1 trending topic on the micro-blogging site as it aired.
