Friday's episode was the calm before the inevitable storm of next week's episode, teased to feature heated confrontations aplenty. Of course, calm is always a relative term when it comes to teleseryes about infidelity, most of which live for those euphoric moments where those caught cheating get their comeuppance.

The episode was still tense, but not in a way that the characters were slapping or punching each other --much like in the day before. No, it was tense in a sense that viewers really did not know what Jericho Rosales' Lino was going to do next.

Fans saw him aimlessly wander the night after having his world turned upside down by the discovery that his wife, Jade (Yam Concepcion), was hooking up with another man, Ace (Sam Milby).

There was moment when fans thought he might have been planning to kill himself, as he crossed a bridge. He stopped, faced the water, and ended up just throwing away their ring.

After that, he went home and contemplated the consequences of giving in to his emotions and beating up Ace to the point where he was near-death.

Speaking of Ace, he was rushed to a hospital. After waking up, he lectured Jade about not showing up out of the blue. She asked him to leave, just as before the cops investigating the incident arrived with his own wife, Jacky (Yen Santos).

Now Jacky has started to harbor doubts, after overhearing things at the bar where Ace was beaten up. There must have been a reason, she thought to herself, and there was really just one logical conclusion to all of this.

They have a fight, with Ace accusing Jacky of losing her trust in him and for suspecting him of any wrongdoing. That scene ended with Jacky storming out, deciding that the CCTV footage of the incident would reveal the "truth" anyway.

The final part saw Lino being escorted by police from his house and into a precinct for investigation.

The fun resumes next week when Lino tells Jacky of the things Ace did, and when he confronts Jade. Jacky also gets into all sorts of messy fights, after Ace's mother gets involved.
