MANILA — South Korean actor Park Seo Joon was not all work when he came to the Philippines in late September.

The 30-year-old heartthrob made sure to go out and about, visiting Greenbelt shopping mall in Makati, as seen in a video blog (vlog) posted on YouTube last Oct. 21.

"Since we're in the Philippines, we can't just stay in the hotel. We must go visit popular tourist destinations," Park said in his vlog.

"I've been to holiday destinations such as Boracay in the Philippines but I've never been to the capital before," he said.

In the vlog, which runs for nearly 10 minutes, Park talked about the weather, his family, and his past visit to Boracay. He also ate desserts.

Park was in the country for a fan meet, organized last Sept. 29 by local clothing brand Bench, which he endorses.

The actor starred in the dramas "She Was Pretty" (2015), "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" (2016), "Fight for My Way" (2017), and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?" (2018).
