Andi Eigenmann is perhaps more used to being asked by fans to have their picture taken with her than asking for one herself, given her popularity as an actress.
She found herself getting that fluttery sensation of having butterflies in her tummy when she, back then when they first met, went up to her would-be boyfriend to ask for a photo together.
She shared how she first came across her non-showbiz beau in an interview with "Tonight with Boy Abunda" Tuesday, saying that they became friends while she was taking a break in Siargao.
"Nung first time ko siyang na-meet ay nilapitan ko siya at nagpa-picture ako kasi siya iyong number one sa Philippine surfing last year," she recalled. "Ever since we would talk and chat."
"Hindi ko in-expect talaga. Sabi ko nga, 'Itatanong pa ba iyon?' Ang sarap-sarap main-love kapag nasa paradise ka."
She described Philmar Alipayo, who is considered as one of the best surfers in the country, as "so humble," "so kind," and "has the biggest heart" she knows.
She also funnily shared how she doesn't think Alipayo knows she's an actress, considering that there are more people who take photos with him rather than her, and that they generally don't watch a lot of television.
She was on the late night talk show to promote "All Soul's Night," a new horror flick from Viva Films.
