MANILA -- Just when everyone thought the "Magpasikat Week" performance of Anne Curtis, Kim Atienza and Eric "Eruption" Tai was over, a man came on stage and shaved off the hair of the "Matanglawin" host.

Atienza, popularly known as Kuya Kim, touched the hearts of viewers on Thursday as he and his co-performers successfully staged their "Magpasikat" performance, which highlighted climate change.

Curtis and Tai played two ninja warriors tasked to kill "Khu Lim-Lim" (Kuya Kim), an evil entity who personifies global warming.

Curtis and Tai wowed the audience with their ninja moves and dance routines, but the performance turned serious when the silhouette of "Little Me" grand winner Xiamara Sophia Vigor was projected on a huge glass canister.

Save the earth while you still can," Vigor said.

After she gave her message, Atienza stood between Curtis and Eruption as he gave a meaningful message.

A man then went up to the stage and started shaving Atienza's hair off.

According to the 48-year-old "Showtime" host, it was his personal decision to get the buzz-cut live on TV. This was also the first time he did in his entire life.

The performance has become one of the most tweeted topics on Twitter with netizens applauding Atienza's move to spark a social movement.

Atienza's performance also garnered praises from the judges.

Guest judge Amy Austria said she became emotional seeing someone shave his head for an advocacy.

"Naiiyak ako kanina habang ginugupit 'yang buhok mo kasi alam kong ilang taon mong inalagaan yan. And for you to do that live sa TV at nakikita ng lahat ng tao, very powerful 'yong naging stand mo at 'yong challenge mo sa tao," she said.

Tirso Cruz III also urged everyone to start doing his part to fight climate change.

"This is truly a wake-up call para sa ating lahat. This is a very clear and loud message for all you people out there. Huwag na tayo, 'yong susunod na henerasyon nalang ang isipin natin," he said.

Meanwhile, veteran actors Nonong "Bangkay" de Andres and Lilia Cuntapay expressed their heart-warming message to Atienza, Curtis and Tai.
