MANILA – South Korean singer Kang Daniel arrived in Manila on Friday ahead of his much-anticipated fan meet at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, October 19.

The event is part of Kang’s “Color on Me” Asian tour.

Kang rose to fame after joining the second season of the hit Korean reality show “Produce 101” in 2017.

He ranked first among the 11 winners, leading him to become the center of the boy group Wanna One, which promoted from August 2017 to January 2019.

Wanna One first visited to Manila in October 2017 for a fan meet. The group returned in September 2018 for its “One: The World” tour.

Kang debuted as a soloist last July 25 with the extended play “Color on Me” and its lead single “What Are You Up To.”

Kang also made headlines recently after it was revealed that he was dating Park Jihyo, main vocalist and leader of the Korean girl group Twice.
