The director of "I'm Drunk, I Love You" has confirmed that there will be a sequel to the hit romantic drama, which saw Maja Salvador play the role of a woman who is secretly in love with her best friend.
JP Habac said Tuesday on Twitter that he is working on the script for a second part titled "I Love You, I Do" with writer Kristin Barrameda, saying: "Magandang araw, mga bata."
The first movie was released in February of last year, also starring Paulo Avelino as Carson's (Salvador) best friend, Dio.
There were strong calls from fans for a sequel when Habac shared back in January the script for the inaudible conversation Carson and Dio had by the end of the movie.
It remains unclear whether both lead stars will return for the sequel, which hints at a possible wedding.
