Sofia’s anxiety attacks caused their breakup? Of course not, says Diego

They were inseparable for a time, especially back when they were working together on "Pusong Ligaw."

That's why their fans are still bit puzzled over what suddenly caused Diego Loyzaga and Sofia Andres to end their relationship, given their coupled-up behavior.

But out of all the rumors about the reasons for their split, there's one that Loyzaga will vehemently deny --and that is that Andres' anxiety attacks was what put him past the edge.

"No, of course not," he said, speaking with Pep. "'It's horrible if you break up with someone because of a problem like that. When people have those problems, may pinanggagalingan 'yun."

''Help the person out. Try to make them feel better."

Andres was the one who first opened up about why they broke up, citing moments when she would "clash" with Loyzaga and their "different lifestyles."

According to Loyzaga, there's no "bad blood" between him and Andres and they remain close. In fact, he told his former girlfriend to call him up whenever she needs someone to talk to.

"'We understand each other, we still understand each other. That's a thing I wanna clear, that we stay friends because if ever you need somebody, I'm still gonna be here for you."

''If ever you are having one of these attacks, call me up. She did that one time, she was like, 'Diegs, I need your help.' I was there to listen and I will always be there to listen."

He also explained that he's willing to work with her again, if given the opportunity.

Loyzaga was asked about this during a press conference for the upcoming afternoon serye, "Los Bastardos."
