MANILA – Ritz Azul is already looking forward to attending her first Star Magic Ball.

A former contract artist of TV5, Azul joined ABS-CBN last April. Her first project as a Kapamilya was a guest stint in the hit primetime series "Ang Probinsyano" starring Coco Martin.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News during her gown-fitting for the annual gathering of stars, Azul said she is excited to meet new people at the prestigious event.

“Nababalitaan ko na prestigious ang Star Magic Ball. Kumbaga sa pageant, pang Miss Universe siya. Nae-excite ako makakita ng mga bagong mukha din at makakilala ng mga bagong kaibigan pa,” she said.

Asked how she is preparing for the event, Azul said: “Siyempre proper diet, exercise pero more on mas tumitingin ako sa positive vibes ngayon kasi kapag mas masaya, mas maganda. Nagfi-fit na rin ako ng gown ko by Nat Manilag.”

The actress, however, said she is not yet sure whether she will attend the ball with a date or go solo.

The 2016 Star Magic Ball will be held on October 22.
