MANILA — Onscreen partners for two years now, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber have admittedly gone through rough patches, among them a “big fight” when they were in Hawaii.

According to Entrata, she was in low spirits due to a personal problem, and had little patience when Barber kept asking if he was the reason she felt down.

“Siya kasi, maalaga, very thoughtful. Sabi niya, ‘May, what’s the problem? Am I the problem?’ ‘No, you’re not.’ Hanggang, ‘Hindi nga ikaw!’ ‘O sige, ikaw na, nag-away na tayo!’” Entrata narrated, laughing.

Entrata did not detail the personal problem nor how they resolved their fight. She did say, however, that they both had lessons learned from that episode.

“Hindi kasi ako expressive, tapos siya, expressive siya. Doon ko natutunan sa kaniya na dapat pala, minsan, sinasabi mo ang problema mo para mas maluwag siya, mawala ‘yung tinik sa puso mo. Tapos ngayon, mahinahon na kami mag-usap,” she said.
