MANILA -- (UPDATE) Minty Fresh will be missing the season finale of "Drag Race Philippines" season 1 after getting the chop in the latest episode aired Wednesday.

In the ninth episode, the five remaining queens were tasked to do a music video to "Champion" by RuPaul. They also had a chance to talk with the panel about their journey on the show.

In the judges' panel, Boy Abunda felt like Minty was letting others steal the limelight from her.

"You’re beautiful but I needed to see how you celebrated that. Sabi ko, ba’t hindi niya mayakap ‘yun. I don’t think you should allow anybody to steal that from you.," Abunda said.

Abunda considers Marina Summers the standout among the five. She ultimately won the last challenge, and is now tied with Xilhouete and Minty with two wins.

"The very first time that I saw you in the video, that was a champion. I kept on watching and I realized, you know your boundaries and nobody gets into that boundary," Abunda said.

"I like the sense of this is where I stand and you better look at me. That is a winner owning that space," he added.

Minty landed in the bottom two with Xilhouete and performed the song "You'll Always Be My Number One" by Vernie Varga.

Xilhouete survived the lip-sync and will be joining Marina Summers, Precious Paula Nicole, and Eva Le Queen in the finale.

“Drag Race Philippines” airs new episodes Wednesday on Wow Presents Plus, Discovery Plus, and HBO Go, while the “Untucked” episodes air on Fridays.

The Emmy Award-winning original series has featured the talents of Filipino drag queens in the US and several overseas in editions through the years.
