Muhlach, whose last movie was the 2012 romantic-comedy "Of All the Things" with Regine Velasquez, said he gladly accepted the project when the producers told him he won't have to lose weight for it. He said he currently weighs 191 lbs.

"I think it's the right movie to get back in the scene again because I was missing it already. I said 'yes' right away," said Muhlach, who is co-starring with Dingdong Dantes, Ronaldo Valdez, Enrique Gil and Cristine Reyes, under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Molina.

According to Muhlach, he has been hesitant to do a love story for his movie comeback because he doesn't want to be compared with younger actors who have been dominating the big screen recently.
"In the six years na nawala ako, ang daming love stories na movies starring the new generation. And for me to do that again? Parang corny naman," he added.
