MANILA -- A Chigao-based teen, who barely speaks Tagalog, won over the judges on Sunday's episode of "Pinoy Boyband Superstar."

Russell Reyes, 17, got all four nods with his rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Lately" and Bituin Escalante's "Kung Ako Na Lang Sana."

Comedian Vice Ganda conceded that Reyes has the voice and the looks but remains skeptical since he can't speak Tagalog.

Singer Yeng Constantino added that Reyes' strong personality could comes across as arrogance.
