Maris Racal to play 'Idol PH' winner Zephanie in 'MMK' episode

MANILA -- ABS-CBN's long-running drama anthology "Maalaala Mo Kaya" will feature the life story of Zephanie Dimaranan, the first winner of "Idol Philippines."

Actress-singer Maris Racal will play the newest Kapamilya teen singer in the episode, which will also feature Mickey Ferriols and Dominic Ochoa.

Directed by Eduardo Roy Jr. and written by Akeem del Rosario, the episode will air Saturday, September 28, after "The Voice Kids."
