MANILA — With the ABS-CBN Ball came the rare chance for stars of the No. 1 network to finally come together and take a break from their respective full schedules.

The gathering of celebrities, as expected, produced great photo moments, including a candid shot of four screen queens sharing a light moment.

In a photo they each posted on social media, Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, and Anne Curtis are seen laughing at what appears to be an afterparty.

Locsin, who skipped the ball, was apparently able to catch up with her colleagues and real-life friends, or “beshies” as Panganiban captioned her upload.

For Alonzo, the snap was a “favorite” moment, while for Curtis, it was a warm reminder of having “different personalities” but having the “same strong hearts.”

“Love you ladies! For keeps,” Curtis wrote, with a heart emoji.

She also included hashtags of their respective screen roles that belong to the same genre: Locsin’s “The Legal Wife,” Alonzo’s “The Mistress,” Panganiban’s “The Unmarried Wife,” and Curtis’ “No Other Woman.”

The rare shot of the four showbiz queens together got giddy reactions from fans, and resulted in a flood of requests to finally have them all star in one project.

That was a near reality in 2007 with the primetime series “Maging Sino Ka Man,” where the ladies, except Locsin, had lead roles.

Panganiban did get to star with Locsin in 2012, via the movie “One More Try,” and will get to act anew with Alonzo in an upcoming Star Cinema film.

Alonzo and Locsin, meanwhile, were more recent co-stars in the modern classic “Four Sisters and a Wedding,” released in 2013.

While Curtis and Locsin have yet to act together, they have shared endorsement projects and are known to be close friends.
