MANILA - Actor Matteo Guidicelli has this to say to people who still doubt his relationship with singer Sarah Geronimo.

In a recent press conference for his upcoming album and concert, Guidicelli stressed that what they have is "not showbiz," but something that is "real."

"I just wanna clarify, we're never a love team. We don't work together because we don't want people to say, 'Ah, they're using each other,'" Guidicelli replied when asked to react to those who think that his relationship with Geronimo is only for show.

"I mean, there are more than ten offers [for us to do a project together], so many offers that we both say no to, because we want to save our relationship. We know the true meaning of our relationship. It's not showbiz, it's real. We want to protect that, and we want to really save that," he added.

Guidicelli and Geronimo have been dating for more than three years. The actor has already expressed his plans to marry the pop star.

Geronimo, on the other hand, said that her ideal marrying age is 30. She will turn 29 this year.
