Buoyed by strong ratings, 'The Killer Bride' holds thanksgiving mass

MANILA – Members of the cast and crew of the hit primetime series "The Killer Bride" gathered on Thursday for a thanksgiving mass.

The ceremony was attended by lead stars Maja Salvador, Joshua Garcia, Janella Salvador and Geoff Eigenmann.

Also present were Malou de Guzman, Lara Quigaman, Jobelle Salvador, Ariella Arida, Neil Coleta, Pepe Herrera, Pamu Pamorada, Keanna Reeves, Loren Burgos, Eric Nicolas, Vivoree, Miko Raval and Soliman Cruz.

"The Killer Bride" has maintained its high ratings since it made its debut last August 12.

In an interview with ABS-CBN reporters after the mass, the show's stars thanked all the supporters and viewers of the series.

"Naka one month na po yung 'The Killer Bride' pero grabe 'yung ibinibigay na suporta. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam dahil simula noong nag-umpisa kami ay ang taas po ng ratings namin kaya nagpa-thanksgiving Mass kami dahil sobrang thankful kami, sobra," Maja Salvador said.

"Sobrang natutuwa kami kasi nga this is one of the most challenging projects na ginawa ko at natutuwa ako na marami ang sumusubaybay talaga," Janella Salvador added.

They promised that viewers can expect more explosives scenes in the coming weeks. "Sobrang maraming magaganap per week and per episode," Maja said.

"The Killer Bride" airs weeknights after "The General's Daughter."
