Kakalimutan mo muna 'yung fangirling. Actually sila mismo 'yung nagsasabi na kaya mo 'yan. Nag-e-encourage sila.

Directed by Adolf Alix Jr., "Poon" also stars Ara Mina, Ronaldo Valdez, Gina Pareño, Allen Dizon, among others.

"Grabe lungs!! Mga icons! Grabe kilig ko sobra… Mga best actress and best actor…. So nakahanay ba ako Charot!!!!! Yung nagkagulatan pa kami ni Ms. @jaclynjose kasi magkasama kami ulit hahaha," Mina captioned her post when the project was announced in June.

Mina made history in Philippine cinema as the first transgender to win a best actress award in the 2018 Cinema One Originals film festival entry “Mamu: And a Mother Too,” where she played an ageing sex worker and adoptive mother.
