MANILA - Comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas could not be more proud of her 22-year-old boyfriend, Gerald Sibayan, as he graduated from college.

Delas Alas, 51, shared to her Instagram account on Wednesday a post from Sibayan's page, announcing that he has earned a degree in Sports Management from the De La Salle University.

"I want to congratulate you, not just because you achieved your goals, but because of how you became a man with dignity and integrity," the former "Tanging Ina" star wrote in the caption, edited.

She added: "Tumaas ang respeto ko sa iyo lalo kasi puwede ka namang magtamad tamaran at mag-Counter Strike mag-hapon pero inilaban mo na araw araw gumising ng maaga at suungin ang traffic at baha papuntang maynila galing sa Quezon City."

"Dahil gusto mong mag-aral, gusto mong makatapos at gusto mong matupad ang pangarap mo at pangarap kong makatapos ka at maipag malaki kita sa buong mundo."

"And now I want to say to the whole world: I am so proud of you darling. Congratulations! Naluluha ako sa kaligayahan ...They just know your name but not your story. I love you so much. To God be the glory," she concluded.

Delas Alas first revealed her relationship with Sibayan back in September 2014, more than a year after she confirmed her divorce from businessman Jed Salang. Delas Alas married Salang in Las Vegas on April 2013, but separated after less than a month after she accused him of physical abuse.

Delas Alas has two children with former partner Miguel Vera -- Nicolo and Sofia. She also has a son, Sancho, from a relationship before Vera.
