MANILA -- Despite her age, Alice Dixson remains hopeful that she and her partner would be able to start a family soon.

In an interview with Push, the 48-year-old actress said they are not losing hope and are still open to a possibility of building a family.

“I’ve been wanting to start a family for a long time. Hindi lang natutuloy but we’re still trying and hopefully it will happen. God will give us that blessing soon,” she said.

An advocate of active lifestyle, Dixson proudly shows off her bikini bod on social media.

"It was very difficult to feel good about yourself when you’re overweight. So naniniwala ako na if you look your best you’ll feel your best and it will come out in your confidence as well," she said, admitting that she was once overweight.

Dixson also emphasized that the key to having a youthful glow comes from within.

"I think when you are naturally feeling good about yourself and feeling confident, your heart is overfilled with joy din. So naniniwala ako when you’re feeling good about yourself you’re also happy because your heart is happy din,” she said.
