MANILA -- The voting for the first eviction night for regular housemates in the ongoing season of ''Pinoy Big Brother: 737'' has been stopped following a housemate's decision to voluntarily leave the house.

Twenty-one-year-old Jessica Marasigan, dubbed "California Dreamgirl ng U.S.A," decided to voluntarily leave the house after hearing an unexpected news about her family.

In an episode aired Sunday, "Kuya" called Marasigan to the confession room where he revealed the sad news about her family.

"Jessica, mabigat sa loob ko ang sasabihin ko sa'yo. Your lola passed away," Kuya told Marasigan.

Upon hearing the news, Marasigan immediately told Kuya that she wants to go home.

"I want to go home Kuya. I need to be with my family, Kuya."

Because of her decision, the voting for eviction has been stopped.

Marasigan, along with "Sexy Mommy ng Japan" Miho Nishida, had been nominated for eviction.

Kuya has yet to announce when Marasigan will leave the house.
