MANILA – Garie Concepcion has no issues that her boyfriend, singer-actor Michael Pangilinan, already has a child.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Concepcion said Pangilinan told her everything when they entered into a relationship.

“Tanggap ko naman po lahat 'yun," she said, although she still hasn't met the child.

Concepcion also just shrugged off Pangilinan’s video scandal, which went viral on social media in February.

“Well, like he said, it happened even before we met and he was a lot younger then. Past na po 'yun. Hindi naman po ako dahil lang doon, iiwanan mo 'yung tao. Huwag naman ganun,” she said.

Meanwhile, Concepcion said Pangilinan has yet to meet her father, veteran actor Gabby Concepcion.

“Si Papa na lang po talaga 'yung hindi pa niya name-meet,” she said. “Ang tanong lang ni Papa, ‘When will I meet him?’”

Asked what tips he would give Pangilinan to earn her father’s approval, Concepcion said: “Just be himself. Si Papa naman, basta inaalagaan 'yung mga anak niya, minamahal 'yung mga anak niya, okay lang siya.”

If there’s one thing she loves about Pangilinan, Concepcion said it is his being family-oriented.

“He’s a very genuine person. What you see on camera, 'yun po siya. At saka very malambing. Pinakanagustuhan ko po nung nagkasundo sila ng mommy ko. Very family-oriented po kasi kami pareho,” she said.

Concepcion is the daughter of Gabby with former wife Grace Ibuna.
