MANILA – Jodi Sta. Maria denied that she has rekindled her past relationship with former boyfriend, actor-politician Jolo Revilla.

This after pictures of them together along with their other friends made the rounds online in the past week.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other reporters on Sunday, Sta. Maria clarified that they are not back together but they remain good friends.

“Kami naman ni Jolo magkaibigan naman kami. Nung time naman na sinagot ko 'yung issue, sabi ko yes we are no longer together but we are still friends. If once in a while, we do hangout, I don’t find anything wrong naman with that,” she said.

Asked if she has already turned her back on love, Sta. Maria said: “Basta ako ngayon, kung anong mayroon ako, ine-enjoy ko na lang din muna. Ayaw ko magpa-pressure sa kahit na ano.”

Meanwhile, Sta. Maria shared that she is set to do another movie this month with acclaimed filmmaker, Erik Matti.

“Nae-excite ako at the same time, kinakabahan kasi first time ko siya makakatrabaho. Siyempre intimidated din ako sa kanya kasi siyempre si Erik Matti siya,” she said.

Compared to her last movie, the romantic-comedy “The Achy Breaky Hearts,” Sta. Maria said her new film will be “a mix of everything.”

“May horror, suspense, parang feeling ko nga psychological-thriller din siya. Iba na naman itong gagawin natin,” she said.
