MANILA – Aicelle Santos proudly raised the Philippine flag as she finished second in the recently concluded ASEAN+3 Song Contest in Vietnam.
The singer, who is back in “Rak of Aegis” after her “Miss Saigon” stint, won silver for her interpretation of Jungee Marcelo’s “Kapangyarihan ng Pag-ibig” during the contest’s final round on Sunday.

Rosario Ninih Chamini Bianis of Malaysia was proclaimed winner of the ASEAN+3 Song Contest, as reported by Voice of Vietnam.
The competition attracted 22 professional singers aged 18 to 35 from the ASEAN region as well as Japan, Korea, and China.
Aside from Santos, Tim Pavino and Steven Bedolido also represented the Philippines in the event.
