Titled "Kasalang Bagani," the episode saw a radiant Ganda walking down the aisle to meet her groom at the altar. They were surrounded by their family and friends, including their fellow bagani.

Unknown to the two, however, their wedding has been the target of the vengeful deity Malaya (Kristine Hermosa), whose elaborate plan is to kill Lakas in front of his bride, to inflict on them "incomparable pain."

Ganda and Lakas were also oblivious to Datu (Enzo Pineda) getting killed by Mayari (Sofia Andres), whose corpse was re-animated as a breathing puppet following only Malaya's will.

The teaser for "Bagani's" Friday episode shows Malaya's forces showing up at the ceremony, and Ganda's mysterious dark powers surfacing, apparently at the sight of something that causes her anguish.

The double "pasabog" in Thursday's episode, as viewers termed it on Twitter, made "Bagani's" official hashtag a top trending topic on the social media platform, with many expressing their shock over Datu's death and excitement for Ganda's apparent unleashing of new powers.
