MANILA -- It's still one of the biggest question marks for those in the movie industry: with restrictions on shooting sets and cinema closures brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, how are they supposed to keep doing the one thing they love the most?
Well, some of them might want to ask Solenn Heussaff for a few tips, as revealed this Tuesday, she was part of a group who found a way to film a horror movie while in isolation.
Titled "Quarantina Gothika," it is being billed as a trilogy made to honor the legacy of the late icon, Peque Gallaga, widely considered as a master of the local horror genre, among many other things.
Heussaff is one of its stars, alongside G Tongi and Michelle Gallaga.
It will feature three stories titled "Solitaire," "In House," and "Hello Mom," directed by Jo Macasa, Christian Acuña, and Lore Reyes.

"Challenge accepted," wrote Heussaff as the caption to the preview clip, shared on Instagram. "Self shot from home in this new normal. Three women under lockdown…and in peril."
A digital premiere for the trilogy has been scheduled on August 1, 7 p.m., on the "Remembering Peque Gallaga" Facebook page.
