MANILA -- Actress Dimples Romana on Tuesday shared that dreams do come true as she was invited to be one of the jurors at the 48th International Emmy Awards.

Romana shared the good news to all her fans and followers in an Instagram post.

"Today was a magical day. I was invited by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to be a juror for the iEMMYs. The International Emmy Award is given to recognize the best television programs initially produced and aired outside the United States," Romana wrote.

"And to be alongside these amazing industry partners is quite humbling. Pilipinas and Kapamilya represent," she added.

According to its official site, this year's International Emmy Awards Gala will be held on November 23, 2020 in New York City. The nominees will be announced in September.

Romana, considered to be one of the best actresses of her generation, gained recognition anew when she starred in ABS-CBN hit series "Kadenang Ginto," which concluded its run last February.
