Ali Khatibi, Cristine Reyes' husband, was given a rather blunt question when he appeared on Thursday's "Tonight with Boy Abunda."

Khatibi was put through the wringer when the interview focused on the topic of cheating because of what Khatibi said previously that a person is "more of a man" when he can resist temptation.

"Yes, very much," Khatibi replied, adding that he has been able to stay true to his marital vows by just "walking away right away. As soon as may ma-feel ka, turn around and walk away."

Khatibi married Reyes in January 2016 after dating for three years. They have a daughter, Amarah.

In the same interview, he reiterated that he considers his family to be his "pot of gold." He explained: "Sila po iyong treasure ko talaga. Sila iyong wealth ko. Importante sila sa akin."

Khatibi was a guest on the late-night show to promote his upcoming action flick, "Double Barrel: Sige! Iputok Mo," which also stars AJ Muhlach, Phoebe Walker and Jeric Raval.

It is directed by Toto Natividad, and will hit cinemas nationwide on August 2.
