MANILA -- Some people post videos of them blowing out candles.

But for his birthday, Xian Lim had a little something different in mind, taking a video of his rumored girlfriend, Kim Chiu, petting a black panther on a leash as they celebrated together.

He appeared to have held his party, attended by his basketball team, the Mandaluyong El Tigre, on Wednesday, and it featured the huge cat.

In his photo with the animal, he wrote: "Wakanda foreva," quoting the "Black Panther" movie.

The video he took of Chiu petting the panther was uploaded on the Instagram page of the actress, who also shared photos of her feeding ponies. "Just a normal day with these cuties," she said.

She did have a sweeter post about Lim's birthday hours later, penning him a lengthy message where she called him the person who brings out the best in her.

"Thank you for being you! Wishing you nothing but the best in everything you do! Know that I'm always always here for you enjoy the rest of the day!!!! Happy birthday!" she wrote.

The two have long been rumored to be a couple, but so far they have yet to officially confirm anything about their relationship.
