MANILA -- As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, "Maalaala Mo Kaya," the country's longest drama anthology hosted by ABS-CBN chief content officer Charo Santos-Concio, will soon release a commemorative album.

"It's really just to show my appreciation (and) the program's appreciation to all the followers," Santos-Concio said in an interview during the "MMK: The Reunion" event in Davao City, where she met with the show's letter senders.

The album will include songs that were used on the show.

"Pinili namin 'yung mga iba't ibang awitin na naging kasama natin sa pagtahak natin sa buhay mula pagkabata natin hanggang mag-kapamilya na tayo. We were able to gather some of the big names in the music industry. Again, my heart is filled with gratitude," she said.

Among the artists who will be part of the special album are Lea Salonga, Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Lani Misalucha, Ogie Alcasid, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Jona, Kyla, Piolo Pascual, Juris, Charice, KZ Tandingan, Jenine Desiderio and daughter Janella Salvador, Jed Madela, Darren Espanto, Sharon Cuneta and Santos-Concio's granddaughter Julia Concio.

Aside from the album, "MMK" will also be releasing commemorative stamps.
