MANILA – Coco Martin is extremely honored that Richard Gutierrez agreed to join the “Ang Probinsyano” family.

Gutierrez is set to play Angelito, who would threaten the relationship of Cardo (Martin) and Alyana (Yassi Pressman).

Martin, who is the director and lead actor of the series, said their team made sure to give Gutierrez’s character a good story arc.

Napaka-humble pala niyang tao, napakabait, napakasimple.

Martin then thanked Gutierrez for his professionalism, saying everyone in the show is delighted to have him onboard.

“Chard, maraming maraming salamat. Natutuwa kami kasi napakagaling mo makisama,” he said.

Gutierrez will make his first "Ang Probinsyano" appearance on Monday.
