Star Cinema releases bloody teaser for Joshua, Julia zombie movie ‘Block Z’

MANILA—The story of the zombie apocalypse may be nothing new, but acclaimed young director Mikhail Red, of "Birdshot" and "Eerie" fame, is teaming up with Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto to take it in a fresh direction by placing it in a Philippine setting.

Check out what fans can expect (apparently lots of blood, action, and carnivorous undead) in the first teaser for "Block Z," officially released by Star Cinema this Friday.

The clip first made its debut on ToyCon 2019, with Red, together with his lead stars, unveiled it a la a "Marvel leak."

The film also stars Ian Veneracion, Ina Raymundo, Maris Racal, Mccoy de Leon, and Dimples Romana.
