Ronnie Alonte may be confused about why his name was dragged into a fight between Loisa Andalio and Sue Ramirez, but he is sure about one thing.

In an interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday, Alonte clarified that he is just close friends with Andalio despite fan-spread rumors suggesting otherwise.

"Para sa akin, kami ni Loisa, parang mag-best friends kaming dalawa. Ibang klase iyong closeness namin," he said.

Andalio was recently alleged to have had a fight with Ramirez over Alonte. The former has since denied this, adding that she and her fellow actress have already sorted things out. "Na-realize ko din na kaibigan ko po talaga si Sue," she shared.

Alonte and Andalio have been persistently linked together by fans, despite the two insisting their relationship is only platonic.
