MANILA -- "I know this came in really, really late... and it's still worth celebrating."

Julia Barretto made this statement in her latest vlog as she showed her Silver Play Button from YouTube, which is given to content creators that have gained 100,000 subscribers on the platform.

As of writing, Barretto's channel has 356,000 subscribers.

The actress said getting the Silver Play Button felt like winning her first-ever award.

"I just got this and I was so excited to receive it yesterday," she said in her vlog published last July 1. "It felt like my first award... but it is the first award I'm receiving on this platform and I just really want to say thank you to everybody who helped me out on this journey to receiving this award."

"Obviously I'm very new to this platform, it's not something that I'm used to doing and I'm still trying to get the hang of it," she admitted. "But I just want to say thank you for keeping up with me and I hope that I will be able to provide more videos that can hopefully entertain and help you guys in some way, or inspire you in some way."

Barretto has been giving her fans a glimpse of her personal life, from her morning routine to bonding moments with her family, through her vlog.

The first video on her YouTube channel was released in September 2019, and showed her preparations for the ABS-CBN Ball.
