MANILA - Former Disney star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle finally walked down the aisle on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) to marry her partner, Scott Kline Jr.

The ceremony was held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles.

Looking absolutely stunning, Perez de Tagle wore an Oliver Tolentino dress with a 10-meter veil and an 8.5-meter train.

Her wedding gown took five months to be completed with the Hollywood-based Filipino designer taking care of all the intricate details that the design entailed.

Meanwhile, Perez de Tagle’s grandmother, Original Pilipino Music icon Sylvia la Torre, was at the wedding where she gave a beautiful rendition of “Ave Maria.”

In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Perez de Tagle she fell in love quickly with Kline, who is half-Filipino.

“I met him about two years ago. We were set up by my cousin. Our first date was actually at Disneyland. At the end of the night, he gave me a bouquet of flowers and drove me home. Very formal, very Filipino. Super ligaw like in the Filipino way which was very refreshing,” she said.

While she is used to the camera, Kline, an engineer by profession, isn’t. But the couple said it won’t be a problem.

“He’s very supportive of my career but if I ever do decide to take a break because of kids, he’s supportive of that also. But I still plan to still act, sing. We are still living in LA so we’ll be fine with that,” she said. – with reports from Steve Angeles and Yong Chavez, ABS-CBN North America News Bureau
