Former Ateneo volleyball star Alyssa Valdez is set for her acting debut for the romance-drama film “My Letters to Happy,” which is scheduled for release in July.

“Most relationships are complicated,” Valdez explained. “‘Pag may napagdaanang kaunting problema, aalisan mo agad ‘yung taong mahal mo. In this movie, malalaman mo na may mga tao rin pala na kahit ano’ng mangyari, kahit gaano kasakit, kahit ano’ng pinagdadaanan, mag-si-stay. They’re not going to leave you, they’re not going to quit.”
