MANILA -- It admittedly was his first time.

And there's no doubt that actor Matteo Guidicelli will learn from the criticisms over his initial attempt at an "unboxing" video, especially if he works with someone like comedian Michael V, one of the more respected collectors by the local geek community.

Over the weekend, Guidicelli's video of him unpacking a PS4 went viral, mainly for the way he ripped apart its packaging sleeve only to realize that it needs to be intact for the console's warranty.

Michael V personally jumped on the memes, posting what appears to be an invite for Guidicelli to do a collaboration with him for a future video for the release of the upcoming PS5 later this year.

Guidicelli gamely accepted it.

It appears uncertain whether Michael V, who used an edited photo of him and the Kapamilya actor with a "box" of the PS5, was serious about his offer to do an unboxing with Guidicelli or not.

Guidicelli's own video has 1.2 million views, although it is greatly disliked for how he handled the PS4, which costs around P25,000.

It was his first attempt at an unboxing video, a type of vlog that's appealing because it affords people to vicariously experience the thrill of opening new toys, gadgets, and other devices.
