For years, Xian Lim was identified as the other half of the “KimXi” love team, with actress Kim Chiu as his on-screen partner.

When he transferred to Viva in January, his first acting job under the new management was the movie “Miss Granny” with Sarah Geronimo.

They have yet to finish working on the film, which also stars James Reid, as of writing.

Lim also worked with Coleen Garcia and Nathalie Hart on “Sin Island.”

On Wednesday, it was revealed that he will soon star in a movie with Nadine Lustre as the lead actress.

Now that he gets paired with various actresses, the actor appealed to his fans that there is no need for any form of bashing.

“No need to bash, guys! Happy vibes lang. Sa pelikula na tayo humugot! As actors, we’re vessels to the characters we portray. Hawak-kamay lang lahat and let the writers and director do their magic,” he said on Twitter.

Lim went on to cite two reasons why he keeps working hard as an actor.

“First is the love for the craft, to continuously do everything I can to improve. Second is my love for all the people around me. This goes for all the support groups. As artists, we value and appreciate everyone's effort who defend and fight for us,” he said.

Lim said that in the end, he and his co-actors only want to give the best movie experience to their supporters.

He told ABS-CBN News that he feels happy about how where his showbiz career is going.

In particular, Lim invited his supporters to watch “Miss Granny,” describing it as a fun movie.

“From James to Sarah and everyone in the cast, when we go on set, it’s just a fun shoot. Everyone is just relaxed. Hindi siya iyong parang sobrang uptight. It’s a family movie for everyone,” he said.

“I think that’s what direk Joyce is trying to do, to set that vibe na casual lang tayo, let’s have fun and magra-radiate iyon sa mga nanonood,” he added.

A remake of a South Korean film released in 2014, the Viva Films production is directed by Joyce Bernal.

No play date for the movie has been announced yet.
