MANILA -- Former lovers Rommel Padilla and Karla Estrada reunited on the Friday episode of morning talk show "Magandang Buhay."

Padilla was invited to guest for the "Father's Day" episode of the show.

Giggles and "kilig" were inevitable since the former lovers said they remained "good friends" after their separation.

They have one son, the young heartthrob Daniel Padilla.

According to Estrada, the 51-year-old Padilla has always been "protective" of her. That is why she was not surprised when he called her after 'KarJo' trended.

"Sabi niya, 'Ling, ano 'yong KarJo?'" Estrada recalled.

"KarJo" started when Estrada's "Magandang Buhay" co-hosts Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros teased her with Coleen Garcia's father, Jose.

Estrada and the older Garcia even had a movie date during the premiere night of "Love Me Tomorrow."

Meanwhile, Padilla said it is natural for him to react that way. He said whenever he gets an opportunity, he still tries to bring "kilig" to his former girlfriend.

"Biniro ko siya. Alam mo ako, kapag may pagkakataon kasi na makakalabit at makausap ko siya na medyo papakiligin ko, ganun," he said.

According to Padilla, he even joked that he was starting to feel jealous of the new love team.

"Sino ba 'yon? Totoo ba 'yon? Nagseselos na kasi ako," he recalled himself saying.

He added, however, that it was a nothing more than a friendly reminder.

"Actually, paalala lang 'yon," he quipped.
